{"id":2345,"date":"2025-11-20T13:47:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T12:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/transparencyandtruth.ch\/?page_id=2345"},"modified":"2026-01-13T09:39:00","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T08:39:00","slug":"industry-documents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/transparencyandtruth.ch\/it\/industry-documents\/","title":{"rendered":"Documenti dell&#8217;industria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Un archivio unico al mondo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il nostro lavoro si basa sui documenti interni dell&#8217;industria del tabacco conservati nella \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.industrydocuments.ucsf.edu\/tobacco\/about\/\">Industry Documents Library<\/a><strong>\u201d <\/strong>dell&#8217;Universit\u00e0 della California a San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creata nel 2002, la \u201cIndustry Documents Library\u201d ha il compito di conservare e rendere accessibili milioni di documenti provenienti da controversie storiche, tra cui il \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/truthinitiative.org\/who-we-are\/our-history\/master-settlement-agreement\">Master Settlement Agreement<\/a>\u201d (1998).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inizialmente dedicata esclusivamente al tabacco, la biblioteca si \u00e8 poi estesa ad altri settori che hanno un impatto sulla salute pubblica: produttori di oppioidi, industria chimica, agroindustria e industrie fossili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il database viene costantemente aggiornato e oggi conta quasi 20 milioni di documenti relativi al tabacco risalenti dall&#8217;inizio del XX secolo. Comprende anche documenti recenti, come quelli relativi ai processi intentati contro Juul negli Stati Uniti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Perch\u00e9 analizzare documenti a volte vecchi?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si potrebbe pensare che le strategie descritte in questi documenti siano obsolete e che l&#8217;industria si sia evoluta. Tuttavia, anche se sono apparsi nuovi prodotti e l&#8217;industria si \u00e8 adattata ai cambiamenti sociali, le sue tattiche rimangono sostanzialmente simili:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manipolazione dell&#8217;opinione pubblica;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Influenza sulla produzione scientifica;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing mirato ai giovani;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lobbying aggressivo;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrariamente a quanto sostiene, l&#8217;industria non ha apportato cambiamenti fondamentali e l&#8217;analisi dei casi passati consente di comprendere meglio le sfide del presente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tobacco Tactics: uno strumento di riferimento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le nostre analisi si basano anche sul sito \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tobaccotactics.org\/about\/\">Tobacco Tactics<\/a>\u201d, una risorsa essenziale sviluppata dal \u201cTobacco Control Research Group\u201d dell&#8217;Universit\u00e0 di Bath nel Regno Unito.
